  1. oh my! This is all amazing! I love how you filled each hexagon a little bit differently yet it all looks uniform too. Your Joey ensemble is progressing beautifully and that mosaic is amazing;-)

    1. Thank you! I think in nature all patterns are a little bit different, so I didn't want to use only one filling. I am lookin forward, where the Joey challenge will go.

    1. Thank you very much for your kind comment! I tried to capture the peculiarity of the stones. I am not very satisfied with the result, because nature draws much clearer than me.
I am already looking forward how the Joey challenge is developing and what I will make of it. But I am at least equally curious about the results of the other participants.

  3. I couldn't read your narrative, but I think your tiles speak for themselves. Your Petoskey Stone tiles are both elegant. The second one also captures the stone ethos. (Can a stone even have an ethos? I'll have to think about that some more. But, you know what I mean.)

    1. I tried to capture the character of the Petoskey stones. In the second attempt, I have done somewhat better than in the first, but I am not entirely satisfied. The drawing on the stones is much clearer and more concise than on my tiles. This was a very interesting challenge. Maybe I'll start another try.

  4. What a wonderful post with so many tiles. Choosing between black/white and colours is always difficult for me. You let us see that you mastered these two kinds of Zentangle.
I love the mosaïc for Annette and the black.white version for Laura. Your coloured work for Joey is beautiful but my absolute fave of the week is your tile for Adele!

    1. Thank you for your kind feedback! I myself don't know wether I like more black and white or colored tangles. I like to draw them both. The tile for Adele's challenge reminds me a little of christmas balls, so I let it black and white to fit in every season.
