Woche 12 - Weekly Challenges

I had a lot of fun drawing the eggs this year because i use always new patterns. My friends and acquaintances like this Easter decoration and so I give most of them away as presents.

  3. You are crazy, Miss Margarete. What happened to the egss? Did you eat them? It would not enter my mind to draw on something just to be destroyed minutes later. That is why I don't draw tangles in the sand at the beach!!!!! But, woman, do they look great!!!! B&W and colored!
Have to find out what Seerose and Kalrau is. Don't know them, but they look interesting. Same with the flowers in your Joey tile. Beautiful! Jeez, M, you seem to run away with tangles while I snail-slurp after you! Can you hear me or are you already half around the world?
    Greetings from very hot Thailand!

My tangled eggs should better not be eaten, because they serve as Easter decoration or gift tags and are made of plastic. I think, real eggs are far too fragile to be tangled.
And unfortunately, I'm really half a world ahead or behind you, because in Germany it's not hot but freezing cold and it's snowing again, now, in the middle of March. No wonder that the Europeans go on holiday to Thailand. But we don’t give up hope. Springtime will come. I hope, it will last not too long.
Best wishes from winterly snowy Germany.

    3. I do not think so, Susie. We both have our very own style and way of drawing. I think it's as typical as a fingerprint. You have to arrange with it, even if sometimes you are not completely satisfied with it. Often my drawings are not accurate enough, often I have to cover up any mistakes. I think you're never really satisfied with your work. Especially in art, everything always evolves differently than originally planned. But that sometimes leads to great results.
And I think your results are fascinating, clear, thoughtful and extremely artistic. You like my spontaneous way of drawing. I appreciate the mutual inspiration very much. That's wonderful.
And we all do it voluntarily, without competition, simply because it is enjoying and relaxing.

  8. So much work. Although I do occasionally draw on objects rather than paper, I imagine eggs are a bit tricky. However, you make it look easy. Your work on this page is, without exception, superb.

Drawing on the eggs was not easy, because often they suddenly slip away when drawing. Then you have to think about variants for shaky pattern areas. But I enjoyed drawing.

No, it's just not easy to draw the eggs. But with a lot of patience and a little practice it is still a lot of fun.
