DIVA-Challenge 314 - Tanglemuster Scallamps

Zuerst möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle einmal für den Besuch meiner Seite und alle netten Kommentare zu meinen Posts bedanken.  Ich freue mich über das große Interesse.

Heute steht bei Laura Harms, der DIVA, wieder "Use my tangle" auf dem Programm. Diesmal soll das Muster Scallamps von Sarah Uram benutzt werden. Mir gefällt dieses an Lampions erinnernde Muster gut und es kann hervorragend mit floralen Elementen verbunden werden. Deshalb habe ich meinen zweiten Versuch auf schwarzem Untergrund mit Gel- und Buntstiften gestartet. Die Lampions sollten im dunklen Garten leuchten. Über das Ergebnis bin ich nicht besonders begeistert, denn die Gelstifte funktionierten nicht gleichmäßig und das Leuchten kommt auf dem schwarzen Papier auch nicht gut zur Geltung. Trotzdem hat das Tangle eine romantische Stimmung und ich zeige es hier. Mein erstes Tangle zu diesem Thema hatte ich in klassischer Schwarz-Weiß-Zeichnung erstellt. Für die dritte Zeichnung diente als Grundlage eine alte Monotypie auf cremefarbigem Papier aus dem Jahr 2000, die zufällig zwischen alten Bildern wieder auftauchte. Durch den dunklen Druck im Untergrund ist der Gesamteindruck in dem mit Mustern etwas überladenen Bild stellenweise etwas duster, wirkt aber trotzdem interessant. Aber letztendlich ist alles wie immer Geschmackssache.

  5. I like the tree tiles and the special coloureffects you have created. My favorite is the third one, this is a gorgeous work.

  7. Amazing work - all of them tiles. You must have one hell of a tangle database in your head to be able to pick and combine so perfectly and seemingly effortlessly each and every one.
