Woche 23 - Weekly challenges

  1. I'm fond of the mix black/colours and I see that combination many times on your tiles, again, you show us wonderfull work with so many different tangles, it is very hard to chose a favorite but as I said, black/colours, so here they are: Joey's zendala and the last one, both are gorgeous!!! (the others too, especially the first one only black/white is also a real masterpiece.)

    1. Many thanks for your kind comment, Ria.
I am very happy to receive such a positive feedback from such a good artist. Your favorites, the two round tiles, are mine too, because they're not too overloaded. I tend to paint or draw far too much on a sheet of paper because I often cannot stop. And then I'm sometimes not very happy with the result, because the tile or the picture in a previous phase was more appealing. I admire all who can reduce well and leave of. But the way of painting or drawing is as distinctive as a fingerprint. And it's interesting to experiment and to try to make the best of it.

  2. These are all so beautiful Margarete 😍 It's always such a treat wandering through your lush gardens. I especially love what you did with the String Grids. Getting those multiple lines to gracefully converge is NOT easy at all. Well done!

    1. Thank you very much for your kind comment, Michele!
The String Grids look so easy, but it is really difficult to draw them in an attractive way to place the flower petals in between. My first attemps landet in the waste bin. But nevertheless I like to try new patterns.
